The Research Unit for Documentation and Study of the History of the Greek Press (ETMIET, http://etmiet.com/en) / Research Centre for Modern History (KENI), the Department of Political Science and History, Panteion University and the Union of Journalists of the Periodical and Electronic Press (ESPIT) are pleased to invite speakers to take part in the 8th Conference of the European Society for Periodical Research (ESPRit) on the conference theme "Periodical Press and Visual Culture", National Library of Greece, SNFCC, September 11-13,  2019.

Within the framework of the conference, a postgraduate workshop on periodical studies is organised on September 11, 2019. Proposals should be sent to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. by April 15, 2019.
 
We also invite proposals for a concluding plenary panel at the Conference to focus on the current ‘state of the discipline’ of periodical studies in a continent where its development has been strikingly uneven.
